<image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>Dave Hem- All Levels Vinyasa David got into Yoga during the midst of a spiritual collapse. Faced with personal turmoil such as homelessness and addiction, he was able to persevere over these obstacles through the exploration of his yoga practice. David’s first practice was on May 1st, 2013 at The Art Museum of Philadelphia. That experience led him to pursue teacher training. David was, and continues to be, highly inspired by John & Diana Vitarelli who believed in him and helped him to get to where he is today. Daniel Cordua, who is one of David’s teachers to this day, inspires him on a daily basis. When you come to David’s classes, expect to redefine your own personal limitations and break through illusory walls! Expect high energy, a positive atmosphere, a rigorous flow, funky transitions, arm balances, and inversions that will nourish your soul.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Kaitlin McKendrick, Owner- Classic Hot Yoga & Yin Yoga In September 2009, Kaitlin placed her yoga mat down and hid in the last row of a packed class at a Bikram Yoga studio in NYC. She fell out of every posture and though the class was challenging, the positive effects of the practice were felt almost immediately after class. She was hooked and has been practicing the Classic Hot Yoga (Bikram) sequence regularly for more than a decade. For Kaitlin, hot yoga has been a valuable tool in managing stress and anxiety. She wanted to share this healing practice with others and went to Los Angeles in the spring of 2012 to attend Bikram Yoga College of India Teacher Training. Kaitlin has been sharing the Classic Hot Yoga sequence since 2012 and has taught with studios throughout the Philadelphia area, New Jersey, and New York City. In addition to hot yoga, Kaitlin is a Yin Yoga practitioner and finds the Yin practice a beautiful complement to the very yang Classic Hot class. Kaitlin received her certification (50 RYT) to teach Yin Yoga in 2023. She studied under Maura Manzo through Our Yoga Home in Conshohocken, PA. Aside from yoga, Kaitlin is professionally trained as an actor and singer. She graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse in 2016. As a Narberth resident, she is thrilled to bring hot yoga to her neighborhood. Come join Kaitlin for class at the best little hot yoga spot on the Main Line!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Dan Murphy, Classic Hot Yoga Dan is a self taught artist and musician, cyclist and dad. He first came to a yoga studio to paint some signage and was given a free class coupon. After much procrastination he decided to try a class and was immediately hooked. After practicing the 26&2 sequence for 8 years, he was nudged into a teacher training, with no intention of actually becoming a teacher. After teaching a few classes to fulfill the requirements of the training he decided to take ownership of this new skill and become a teacher. Dan sees his teaching as a service, intending to help and welcome people to this practice as he was many years ago.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Bridge is equipped with Enerjoy Far Infrared Radiant Heat Panels, providing the healthiest, greenest and safest heating system available. Unlike most forced air heating systems, far infrared panels are natural, silent and non-allergenic. Our heating mechanism at The Bridge ensures that we are able to safely breathe healthy, clean air in our hot yoga classes. Infrared heating is a natural form of heating for our bodies. With far infrared radiant heating, an electric current is passed through a panel made up of multiple layers of carbon graphite, copper, and nanosilver to emit a wave of infrared. When you practice yoga under these panels, it will feel like you are sitting under the sun but without the dangerous effects of solar radiation. Unlike with conventional heaters, far infrared heating panels do not heat up the air but rather transmit infrared radiation uniformly, which is absorbed by the body. The far infrared waves have the potential to penetrate 1.5 to 2 inches or more into the body allowing for deep heat that raises your core body temperature from the inside-out. The waves then help in opening the body’s sweat glands. When far infrared waves are applied to water molecules, which comprise 70% of our body, these molecules begin to vibrate and then breakdown, causing the body’s encapsulated gases and toxic materials to release through our skin and sweat glands. Sweating is one of the only methods by which the body can eliminate toxins. And sweating under far infrared heat is the safest, healthiest, greenest, and most therapeutic way to do hot yoga. Yoga in the heat helps increase circulation, which is helpful for those who suffer from circulatory issues and arthritis. Increased circulation can help with reducing pain and easing joint stiffness. It reduces inflammation—which is the leading cause of disease. An additional benefit of heat is improved flexibility which directly supports longevity. Feel this heat for yourself. It’s amazing!</image:caption>
